WhAT Is The NAACP?

The NAACP stands for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People which is the Nations oldest and largest civil rights organization. Founded in 1909, the organization aims for global equity and equality in all aspects. The Howard University Chapter of the NAACP is the first college chapter of the NAACP.

Taking on and engaging with various project such as the fight to cancel student debt, the MLK day parade, campus cleanups, the Howard chapter of the NAACP is very active and constantly looking for ways to uplift the greater community.
